18 Altivar 61 variable speed drives Motor cable length Application Information The Altivar 61 drive includes as standard a software function used to limit overvoltages at the motor terminals. See the SUL function in the programming manual. For an application with several motors connected in parallel, the cable length must include all cabling. Recommended cable types: b Shielded cables: "GORSE" cable, type GUOSTV-LS/LH; "PROTOFLEX" cable, type EMV2YSL CY b Unshielded cables: "GORSE" cable, type H07 RN-F4GXX; "BELDEN" cable, type 2950X (2) The software function limits the overvoltage at the motor terminals to twice the DC bus voltage.
