For ATV61H075M3 HD45M3X and ATV61H075N4 HD75N4 drives, the additional EMC filters can be mounted beside or under the device. They act as a support for the drives and are attached to them via tapped holes. For ATV61HD55M3XHD90M3X and ATV61HD90N4HC63N4 drives, the additional EMC filters can only be mounted beside the drive. Use according to the type of line supply These additional filters can only be used on TN (neutral connection) and TT (neutral to ground) type systems. Standard IEC/EN 61800-3, appendix D2.1, states that on IT systems (isolated or impedance grounded neutral), filters can cause permanent insulation monitors to operate in a random manner. If a machine has to be installed on an IT system, one solution is to insert an isolation transformer and connect the machine locally on a TN or TT system.
