Thirteen references provide the wiring translations between the I/O modules of Compact PLCs and those of the Modicon M340 platform and they fully meet the mechanical and environmental specifications of the Modicon M340 range. Quick wiring adapter features The quick wiring adapters have the same look and feel as the standard I/O module connectors of the X80 I/O platform. The new connectors increase the depth and extend below the I/O module. v The quick wiring adapters use the same mounting/retaining screws for attaching the adapter to the X80 I/O platform module. v The sockets of the adapters accept 2 field wiring connectors of the Compact I/O module. v A clear cover is sized to retain the wiring harness. v The cover also has enough room for attaching the wiring label that was used on the Compact module.
